About this test
The standard syphilis screen. Positives automatically get a second, specific test on the same sample, so one draw covers both steps.
Many common infections cause no symptoms, so screening after a new partner or an exposure is routine. Blood tests cover HIV, syphilis, hepatitis, and herpes; a urine sample covers chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trich.
